Namibia secures Pfizer vaccine

Namibia has received 100,620 doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines donated by the United States of America.

The arrival of the Pfizer vaccine, brings to five vaccines approved for use in Namibia, namely AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Sinopharm and Sputnik V.

The country is also set to receive a donation of 30 000 doses of Hyatt Vax from the United Arab Emirates and 318 720 doses of AstraZeneca from Germany.
